Westlake Village Lakefront Project
The project
This home on Westlake Island sits right on the water, so the work started at the lake edge. Block walls went up first, with rebar and gravel fill, then were faced in stacked stone to make planted terraces.
A curved concrete walk and steps were poured along the terraces, and a set of side-yard stairs was poured with boxes for step lights.
On the side yard, a linear travertine fire pit was test-fired before the deck around it was finished. The outdoor kitchen started as block walls by the lake, then sat on a diagonal-scored concrete patio. Gas and electrical connections are coordinated with appropriately licensed trades.
Out front, large concrete pavers were set in decomposed granite, then the joints were finished in artificial turf and the beds were planted.
Progress to finish
In progress, then finished
Each set is the same spot on the same job: our crew mid-build, then the finished work.

Test-fired mid-build, then finished with the deck and planters around it.

Block walls by the lake, then the finished kitchen on a scored patio.

Fresh stairs with step-light boxes, then finished beside the stone wall.

Pavers in decomposed granite, then turf joints and planting.
